Hi, family! We’ve been talking about our two, new church service times starting August 4 @ 9:30 and 11:30am.
Some of you have asked some great questions! We decided to take some of the questions and create a FAQs page here and on the app under “events” to answer them for you and share with others who may have questions as well.
What is Sit & Serve?
We are starting a second Sunday morning service. The service times will be 9:30 am and 11:30 am. Sit & Serve is an opportunity for each person to sit in one service and serve in one service every Sunday.
When does this start?
Sit & Serve starts on August 4 and will continue every week.
Why are we doing this?
God has blessed our church family as we have yielded to Him. As He changes our lives, others have seen it. As we invite them to church, their lives are being changed too. That growth has resulted in a full auditorium on a regular basis.
We want our guests and members to know that we want them to come and have prepared a place for them to attend the service and for Jesus to work in their lives. This allows us the opportunity to reach more people in our community thus making a difference for the Kingdom of God.
This also provides more opportunities for our church family to get involved in serving others. As we serve with a right heart and a right spirit, we grow in our walk with Jesus and our love for Him and others.
How can I be involved in Sit and Serve?
- Choose what service time will work best for you - 9:30 am or 11:30 am.
- Sit together in that service and follow Jesus however He leads, making changes in your life as the Lord directs.
- Whatever service you choose, we invite you to find a place to serve during the other service time. (i.e. - serve in the 9:30am service and sit in the 11:30 am service)
Can I choose to sit in either service?
Yes! We encourage you to choose either one of the two services options to sit in every week.
Do I need to serve every week?
No. We ask that you pray and ask God how He wants you to commit to serve. He may want you to serve every week, every other week, or once a month. Just know when He calls us to do something, He gives us His strength to do it. We also understand that certain life seasons may make it difficult to serve every week. From time to time, we may all have a seasons where we can’t do as much as we’d like to. As we all work together, the needs for each ministry will be met, and we will have the opportunity for breaks during busy seasons in our personal lives.As we develop a rotation for our teams, there may be some areas of service that would benefit from a person committing to serving in that role every week.
Will there be childcare in both services?
Yes, There will be childcare in both services. Our current plan is as follows:The 9:30 am service will have childcare through age 5. This will include a specific Bible teaching time for ages 3-5. The 11:30 am service will have childcare through 2nd grade and will include children’s church for ages 4 and up.
How can I get involved in a ministry?
There are many areas where we can serve together. Here is a list of just a few:

Get Ready to GROW - 7:00 PM
God has blessed us with some tremendous opportunities! So many have been saved, baptized, and added to the church family over the last year.
We are excited to see all that the Lord has been doing, and we want to remain committed to allowing our church to be available for all He is going to do. Sustainable growth does not happen in churches that are not prepared. We need to make room for God to work— literally.
Join us on Wednesday nights for the next few weeks as Pastor Phillip teaches us how we at Crosspoint are preparing to grow. We will discuss our schedule, how to serve, and how to support the momentum that will come as we launch two Sunday morning services.

Hoving Home
Our ladies love going to the Hoving home to fellowship, have a Bible study, and encourage the women who are in the program in their walk with the Lord. If you would like to go along, please reach out to Natalie Jones or Olivia Washington.
July 11 - 13
Crosspoint Camping Trip
We are excited to spend a few days together with our church family in the San Bernardino Mountains. This will be a wonderful time of fellowship and connection with one another as we enjoy the beauty of God's creation.
All meals included. Special dietary needs are your own responsibility.
Please be sure to bring your own snacks, waters, and other drinks. We will provide a water with each meal.

Harvest Crusade 2024
Join us at 7pm on July 20 at Angel's Stadium for a wonderful night of musical performances by top Christian artists, special guest interviews, and a message of hope from Pastor Greg Laurie that could change your life. This event will feature live musical performances from Chris Tomlin, Phil Wickham, and Brooke Ligertwood.
