  If you like to be belittled and disrespected, SHE IS THE PROFESSOR YOU WANT TO TAKE! She's rude, condescending, and goes on random tangents. She does not like to be "bothered" which includes being asked any type of question so good luck if you're lost.

  Professor Hicks-Johnson is not only CARING but an AMAZING Professor . Make all subject clear and easy to understand. She is there to help you throughout you course and alway available to answer any question. I would recommend taking her 100%.

  She is amazing. She cares for her students and is willing to help. She gets straight to the point on all her lectures and is willing to have one on one's if needed. I would take her over and over again if I could.

  I am going to start by saying that I wish I can add more positive tags. Professor Johnson is AMAZING!!!!! She really cares about her students, her lectures are very clear and straight to the point, test are on point with lecture, no tricky questions. She is funny, knowledgeable and caring I think those qualities are essential to be great Professor.

  If you are looking for a professor who not only teaches you but also cares and wants you to succeed, take Professor Jamika. She is the best, extraordinarily amazing professor who will teach you in a way you will not forget what you learned. I would love to have her teaching all my classes. She teaches what you need to know to pass your NCLEX.

  She can be very direct and unfiltered which rubs some people the wrong way. She is kind and caring in her own way but you have to be accountable for yourself first! If you are on time, pay attention in class, and study the WINKS and power point you will do great in her class. She is hilarious, relatable, and makes it interesting.

  Best professor ever!!!! I was kind of scared when I knew she was going to be my professor .I loved this class. Professor Jamika teach in way you will get all the knowledge you need for successfully passing the class.Exams are fair and if you study there you will get an A for sure.

  Great professor with a relatable sense of humor. She may come off as raw for some but I genuinely enjoyed her class. She may hurt your feelings expressing thoughts out loud buts its not the time to get your emotions caught up. She will preps her student the best way she can.   The outbursts that come from this Professor are unreal. She will tell you how terribly prepared you are for NCLEX and how you will never become a nurse. Yes, we will, despite the fact that you have never taught us anything. Any class you take with her is hours of her talking about how her kids are going to be doctors and unprovoked outbursts.

  Make sure you guys study on your own. This class requires lots of studying. Her tests can be simple but the differences between an C student and A student are very noticeable come her class. You can tell who has studied and who has not come test dates. She is nice at times, but then turns mean out of nowhere.

  When you first meet her you're going to be shocked. She is unapologetically herself - but as you go on you realize thats whats makes her brilliant. She gives blueprints, she wants you to pass. Enjoy the ride. I would take her again 10000x. I probably wont finish with an A and thats on me, but she is awesome. Overall happy our paths crossed.

  One of the best professors I have had at Miami Dade. I had her every semester during nursing school. She really cares about her students and wants them to succeed. Shes very understanding she is not here to stress you out she knows how hard nursing school can be. Just show up to her class and make sure you study you will pass her exams.

  I think she gets a bad rep. She does care about her students, she will help you as long as you don't treat her bad. She is great. She can be a little mouthy and respond with attitude, but that doesn't take away from how good of a professor she is. If you study and she sees you putting in the work you will not fail. She really does care .
