CatMail, Login and Content Sharing Changes July 11, 2022

Three important changes to services happened over the weekend of July 8-10:

  1. UArizona CatMail (student/alumni/retiree email):
    • Recipients of emails from CatMail users will see the “From:” email address of the sender as [netid]@arizona.edu.
    • CatMail will still receive email sent to [netid]@email.arizona.edu.
  2. Login: Use [netid]@arizona.edu when prompted to enter an email address to sign in to Adobe, Google, and Microsoft.
    • Third-party applications you have signed up for with your [netid]@email.arizona.edu address have not been changed.
  3. Content Sharing: Use [netid]@arizona.edu when collaborating with others within the University (e.g., Microsoft, Box, Google, Zoom).

What to Know

With the changes now completed:

  • Sign into University systems that use email for login, like Microsoft, with your @arizona email address. (If your old address is prefilled, click "Sign in with another account.")
  • Have your NetID+ method for two-factor authentication (Duo) available.
  • If you experience issues when logging into systems via your web browser, try clearing the browser cache and logging in again. See “Will I need to clear my browser cache?” on the FAQs page.
  • Use the Self-Help Guide below to help re-establish services on specific systems.
    • More information about each service is available under “Is there a list of key services and platforms with expected impacts?” on on the FAQs page.
